The US video game publisher EA Sports became the exclusive "official sports video game" partner of Juventus (Serie A TIM) for three seasons (2016-2019), on 01/07/2016. Juve is the first Italian club to become a global partner of EA Sports and its franchise, the "FIFA" football simulation game.

Players of the Turin club, including Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, and Paul Pogba, as well as the Juventus Stadium (41,000 seats) were modelled by the Electronic Arts Inc. teams with the new 3D engine for "FIFA 17", called Frostbite.

The partnership will also cover operations for cross-marketing: from 2017, EA Sports game stations will be installed at the Juventus Stadium, enabling fans to play "FIFA 17" before matches and at half-time. EA Sports' and Juventus' digital platforms will organise competitions around the game for fans. EA Sports will sponsor the Juve player of the month trophy, using digital content and extracts from "FIFA 17". Finally, the club's players will appear in the game demo and during promotions.
