Euro 2016: the final of the Konami virtual tournament to be held at the Eiffel Tower fan-zone

The grand finale of the virtual tournament organised by Konami, the Japanese video game publisher, is to take place at the Eiffel Tower fan-zone in Paris (FRA) on Thursday, 07/07/2016, from 16:30 CET.

Konami, the editor of PES (Pro Evolution Soccer), the official video game of Euro 2016, has been running the competition since the beginning of the Euro, and was a tournament which was open to all. "From 04/06 to 25/06/2016, more than 1,000 players from all around the world competed against each other during online encounters, but also off-line directly at the Eiffel Tower Fan-Zone," stated Anne Hidalgo, the Mayor of Paris, on 06/07/2016.

On Thursday 07/07/2016, the top four players will compete for the final title. The matches will be broadcast live on the screens in the fan-zone. The winner will receive a trophy at the Stade de France, before the final of Euro 2016, on Sunday, 10/07/2016.
