Leicester City FC: a young fan will accompany the players onto the pitch for the Community Shield

An initiative put in place by Leicester City FC (Premier League) sees the opportunity for a young fan to be the "mascot" of the club, which will enable them to meet the players and to accompany them onto the pitch before the start of the match, for when "the Foxes" face Manchester United FC (Premier League) in the Community Shield at Wembley (90,000 capacity), on 07/08/2016.

The young "mascot" will be drawn from "Junior Fox Members", members of the children's version of the Leicester City FC loyalty program. The winner will also be offered a full 2016-17 home kit and four tickets for the match against Manchester United.

"The Red Devils" won their 12th FA Cup, beating Crystal Palace FC in the final (2-1), on 21/05/2016.
