Euro 2016: The Eiffel Tower fan-zone (Paris) welcomed its millionth visitor on 06/07/2016

The Eiffel Tower fan-zone (Paris) welcomed its millionth visitor before the start of the first semi-final of Euro 2016, Portugal - Wales (2-0), on Wednesday, 06/07/2016, at approximately 19:00 (CET).

Ella, the one millionth visitor to the fan-zone and a supporter of Wales, was greeted by a delegation of the City of Paris and was awarded two tickets to the final of Euro 2016 at the Stade de France (Saint-Denis), on Sunday, 10/07/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

"Since its opening on June 9^th, the Eiffel Tower Fan Zone brings happiness to French and visitors coming to celebrate their love for football in a friendly way. It continues beating records for attendance especially for the French team’s games, with more than 90,000 visitors during the France - Switzerland game on June 19^th and during the round-of-sixteen last June 26^th against Ireland. It goes beyond the millionth visitor today." said the mayor's office of Paris, on 06/07/2016.
