Ligue 1: Paris Saint-Germain choose Poissy locale for its first team and youth team training centres

"Following a three-year consultation process, Paris Saint-Germain have chosen Poissy (north-west of Paris) as the site of their future performance centre, which is scheduled to open at the start of the 2019/20 season," announced PSG on 11/07/2016.

Two other sites were considered, both in also the department of Yvelines, west of Paris, to replace the 'Camp des loges' (Saint-Germain-en-Laye) site, now known as the training centre Ooredoo, on 12/09/2013:
• Saint-Germain-en-Laye: pitches on the Achères plain
• Thiverval-Grignon: site of the Institute of Life Sciences, Industries and the Environment

"In opting for Poissy, Paris Saint-Germain are going ahead with the highly ambitious Club project they embarked on five years ago. The Club is planning to build one of the world’s most advanced performance centres for their men’s football and handball teams. Taking excellence as its goal, this major complex will provide state of the art conditions for talented players from the Paris region and for world football’s brightest young prospects," said the Parisian club.
