France: final of the 2017 Coupe de la Ligue will be held on 01/04/2017 in Bordeaux, Lille or Lyon

The Matmut Atlantic in Bordeaux, the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille, or Parc OL in Lyon, these are the three potential stadiums to host the 2017 final of the Coupe de la Ligue, scheduled for Saturday, 01/04/2017, announced Didier Quillot, the CEO of the LFP, after a board of directors meeting, on 12/07/2016.

The choice will be set in the autumn of 2016, after the deliberation of a league committee headed by Michel Denisot, a member of the board of the LFP. This is the first time that the final of the Coupe de la Ligue will take place outside Paris. Since 1998, the Stade de France (Saint-Denis, north of Paris) has hosted the event.

Marseille, with its stadium the Stade Velodrome, had also applied for contention, but this was not accepted by the LFP. "The selection criteria is related to safety, accessibility and functionality.
