"A tragedy befell our city on Thursday after the fireworks of July 14th (Bastille Day), a day which brought thousands of tourists to Nice on the Promenade des Anglais. This leaves us all in shock, horrified and outraged," stated OGC Nice (Ligue 1), on its website, on 15/07/2016.

A lorry crashed into the crowd on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice (FRA), just after the fireworks of July 14th, at approximately 23:30 CET. As of the morning of 15/07/2016: at least 84 dead and dozens more injured, including twenty in very serious condition.

"Profoundly saddened our core, OGC Nice mourn the victims of this attack, and demonstrate our full support to their families and friends and to all those affected in some way by this tragedy," stated the Nice club, whose website only shows only this message of mourning on its home page, and nothing else.
