Euro 2016: 127.9 million viewers in Spain for the 23 games broadcast by Telecinco

The private, free-TV Telecinco drew 127.891 million cumulative viewers for the broadcasts, in Spain, of 23 of the 51 games of Euro 2016. The average for the channel of Mediaset España group is therefore 5.56 million viewers per game.

The highest audience in Spain for a Euro 2016 game was the group stage match between Croatia - Spain (2-1, Group D), which adrew an average of 10,726,000 viewers on Telecinco, on Tuesday, 21/06/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), for an audience share of 60.6%.

In total, the four matches of the Spanish national team (eliminated 2-0 by Italy in the Round of 16, on 27/06/2016) drew 37,842,000 cumulative viewers (30.6% of the total Euro 2016 TV audience in Spain), for an average of 9.46 million viewers per game.

The average audience per match during the group stage was 5.13 million viewers, followed by 5.19 million viewers in the Round of 16, 4.5 million for the quarter-finals, 5.94 million for the semi-finals, and then the Portugal - France final (1-0, a.e.t.) which drew 9.82 million viewers on average in Spain.
