Fox Sports: three young Peruvians selected for an internship in Italy with Juventus

Three young Peruvian players, aged 8 to 14 years old, will participate in an internship in Italy organised by Juventus (Serie A TIM) from 23 to 30/07/2016, thanks to the programme "La Gran Oportunitad" (the great opportunity), organised by the American pay-TV group Fox Sports, in collaboration with the Academy of Juventus in Lima (Peru).

Gianluca Pessotto, a former international and current Juve sporting director for the Juventus Academy, went to Lima to participate in the recruitment of the three winners, on 09/07/2016. The one-week course for the three young Peruvians is completely free, and they will also receive a one-year bursary from the Juventus Academy as well as being offered a shirt signed by all the players. "The goal of the Academy is not to discover new talent but to disseminate fundamental values of sport and to train young people to become citizens before becoming footballers," said Gianluca Pessotto.
