Umbro: a fish & chips food truck in Caen, Nantes, and Lens to celebrate the 2016-17 home kits

Umbro has activated its kit supplier partnership with SM Caen (Ligue 1), FC Nantes (Ligue 1) and RC Lens (Ligue 2) via the launch of a "fish & chips" food truck in the three French cities, announced the English sports equipment brand, on 17/07/2016. The operation, organised for the release of the 2016-17 home kits of the three clubs, "is a nod to our English roots", said Umbro France.

In Caen, the "Umbro Food Truck" will be present in the city centre from 11:30 to 13:30 CET on 19/07/2016, and will allow visitors to enjoy a free portion of fish & chips, a traditional British recipe featuring fried, battered fish served with chips. The new SM Caen kit supplier (2016-2019) will then install themselves in front of the official club shop at 15:00 CET, on the esplanade in front of the Stade Michael d'Ornano, with surprises and gifts up for grabs for visitors.
