CIES: an evaluation module for players in the Top 5 leagues will measure performance and value

"CIES is expanding its online offering with the launch of a rating module (evaluation) which will present exclusive unpublished statistics of players in the Top 5 (England, Spain, Germany, Italy, and France). Among them, notably, will be transfer value and the level of performance," declared the CIES on 04/07/2016.

"Whereas most things are more or less equal, a richer club will have to pay more to recruit a player. The values presented refer to the amount which corresponds to the type of team most likely to be interested in the player," stated the CIES.

The module will take into account performance levels in the most recent 1,000 minutes in the league in six well distinguished areas: discipline, recovery, distribution, consistency, risks taken and execution.

This tool also includes data about the careers of players, and will compare their level of experience to the average measured at the same age for footballers in the Top 5 leagues in the same position.
