Premier League: Manchester United present their partnership with Gulf Oil during their tour of China

Manchester United FC (Premier League) began the Chinese leg of their 2016-17 pre-season tour with a presentation event for its partner Gulf Oil, in Shanghai (CHN) on 20/07/2016. The US producer and distributor of motor fuels and lubricants became a global partner (second level) of Man United, on 14/03/2016, for a period of three years (2016-2019).

Manchester United has 325 million fans in Asia, and Gulf Oil is growing strongly - particularly in China and Indonesia - and the Middle East, according to the club. Players from the first team, former player and now ambassador Denis Irwin, and the commercial director, Jamie Reigle, represented Manchester United at the event, which was attended by guests from both parties. The representatives of Gulf Oil were Frank Rutten, vice president of Gulf Oil International, and also the director of Gulf China.
