Serie A: Lazio draw 11 only subscribers on the first day of the 2016-17 season ticket campaign

SS Lazio (Serie A TIM) registered 11 subscribers at the end of the first day of its season ticket campaign for the 2016-17 season, on 18/07/2016, reported the Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport on 19/07/2016. Lazio play in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (ITA), which has a capacity of more than 72,000 places.

Subscriptions are sold from €260 (full price) in the Curva Nord (see below). The subscription campaign ends on 31/08/2016.

Many insults and threats against the club's president, Claudio Lotito, were present on the walls of the town of Auronzo di Cadore in the northwestern Italian province of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the Roman team completed a pre-season training camp. The Argentine manager Marcelo Bielsa resigned on 08/07/2016, two days after signing with SS Lazio. He was replaced, for the time being, by the former Lazio striker Simone Inzaghi.
