Bundesliga: MP & Silva acquires TV rights for 34 European countries (2017-2021 period)

The British marketing and media rights agency MP & Silva acquired the broadcasting rights for 34 European countries (see list below) to the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga, the promotion/relegation play-offs, and the German Supercup for the 2017-2021 cycle, announced the agency on 18/07/2016. These rights, acquired from DFL Sports Enterprises, cover all distribution platforms.

We are honoured to have the full trust of the Bundesliga to distribute in such a large number of European countries and we look forward to strengthening the Bundesliga’s coverage," said Roberto Dalmiglio, the chief commercial officer of MP & Silva’s, on 18/07/2016.

MP & Silva acquired the exclusive distribution rights to the 2015-2018 cycle of the Bundesliga in Japan, announced the agency on 23/02/2015. The rights were acquired via sublicense form the US media company FIC (Fox International Channels), a subsidiary of the conglomerate 21^st Century Fox.
