Liverpool FC: club offers its fans the chance to create a pie that will be marketed at Anfield

Liverpool FC (Premier League) have launched a competition for fans to create a pie recipe dubbed the "Taste of Anfield", on 06/07/2016.

The club set up this contest to celebrate the expansion of the Main Stand of Anfield, which will house 21,000 spectators in 2016-17, against 12,500 previously, bringing the capacity of the historic ground from 45,500 to 54,000 seats.

Fans must submit their pie recipe on the club's official website. The winner will be invited to cook the pie with the head chef at Anfield during the inauguration of the new kitchens of the Main Stand. The winning pie will be for sale during Liverpool's first home game of 2016-17 in the Premier League against Burnley FC on 20/08/2016, for which the winner will receive two VIP tickets.
