Ligue 1: Giovanni Ciccolunghi officially became president of Olympique de Marseille on 25/07/2016

"The supervisory board held a meeting on Monday, 25/07/2016 at the headquarters of Olympique de Marseille," stated OM (Ligue 1), on 26/07/2016.

"The board appointed new executive management, composed of:
• Giovanni Ciccolunghi: president;
• Alexandre Mialhe: legal director;
• Cédric Dufoix: secretary general.
This executive management will be responsible for the implementation of the strategy decided by the supervisory board," added Olympique de Marseille.

"The president will travel to the professional team in the coming days," also announced OM in the statement. Giovanni Ciccolunghi is the 30^th president of the history of Olympique de Marseille, and the 7^th of Louis-Dreyfus family era, that is to say, since 1996.
