Olympique Lyonnais: +111% in turnover in 2015-16 (€218.1m, against €103.5m in 2014-15)

OL Groupe, the holding company which owns Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1), achieved a turnover of €218.1m for the 2015-16 fiscal year (from 01/07/2015 to 30/06/2016), an increase of €114.6m (+111%) year-on-year (€103.5m for the 2014-15 season), announced the group on 25/07/2016. These accounts have yet to be audited.

Excluding income from player trading (+€50.9m), the turnover amounted to a record level of €160m (+€63.7m, up 66% compared to 2014-15).

The new Parc OL, in operation since 09/01/2016 notably contributed to the increase in ticketing revenue, to €27.7 (up €16.6m, or +150% from 2014-15). Audiovisual and commercial revenues are also up: €83.1m ( up €37.4m, +82%) in TV monies, thanks to the return of the club to the group stage of the Champions League in 2015-16. Commercial partnerships and advertising revenues posted €26.9m, against €22.4m one year earlier, up €4.5m (+20%).
