Pokémon Go: actor and former wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson creates "Pokerock"

Seven Bucks Productions, a US digital production company co-owned by actor and former wrestler Dwayne Johnson (aka "The Rock"), has created an avatar "Pokémon" for "The Rock", named "Pokérock", on 25/07/2016. The production company launched this new character in a video posted on their YouTube channel (see below).

"The latest rare Pokémon that can be found in nature", Pokérock takes on the appearance and the voice of the American actor, who turns out to be impossible to catch. The YouTubers Ali-A (UK, 10 million subscribers on his two channels) and MatPat (US, 10 million subscribers across his three channels) also appear in the video, which has been viewed over 400,000 times 24 hours after its release.

Launched in Australia and New Zealand on 05/07/2016, and then in the United States the next day, the Pokémon Go application has been available in some European countries since 13/07/2016 and officially in France since 24/07/2016. It has been downloaded 75 million times 21 days after its release.
