AS Monaco: "Sport is an area that is ideal for virtual reality" (Thomas Recayte, Shine France)

"Sport is an area that is ideal for virtual reality, and Shine France intends to expand its collaborations in sport. In France, Shine France has the Shine Sport team, which already makes the "Blue Spirit" magazine for the French National Olympic Committee and L'Équipe 21," said Thomas Recayte, head of development at Shine France, to News Tank Football on 05/08/2016.

Shine 360° (an audiovisual and digital production company, and a subsidiary of Shine France) and Okio-Studio (a vitual reality film producer) collaborated with AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1) and the club's kit supplier Nike to present the 2016-17 away shirt of the club focused around a virtual reality activation, in Paris (FRA) on 25/07/2016.

"This is the first time that a football club has used virtual reality to launch a kit, and it is also important for Shine France to position itself as a pioneer in France in the field of this evolving technology," said Thomas Recayte who answered questions from News Tank Football.
