Spain: beIN Media Group launches its OTT platform beIN Connect for €9.99 per month

beIN Media Group has launched its OTT platform beIN Connect in Spain for €9.99 per month, on 28/07/2016. beIN Connect will use the content of the two Spanish channels of beIN Sports, which includes beIN LaLiga, an HD channel 100% dedicated to Spanish football, launched in partnership with Mediapro on 14/07/2016.

beIN Connect will compete with Spanish operators which already includes the beIN Sports Spanish channels in their offerings, such as Telefonica (Movistar+ offers), Vodafone, Telecable, Orange, and Deion Telecomunicaciones.

The beIN Media Group's streaming platform is also available on TotalChannel, the OTT platform - without commitment - of Mediapro, as well as the video streaming and sharing platform YouTube.

beIN Sports LaLiga will exclusively broadcast eight games per matchday of LaLiga Santander, including one of Real Madrid CF or FC Barcelona. Mediapro acquired these domestic TV rights for the 2016-2019 cycle for €633m per season, on 02/12/2015.
