2.Bundesliga: Sky Deutschland and Sport1 are the broadcasters in Germany for the 2016-17 season

The first game of the 2016-17 2. Bundesliga season, 1. FC Kaiserslautern - Hannover 96, will be broadcast in Germany on the pay-TV channel Sky Bundesliga (Sky Deutschland group) on Friday, 05/08/2016 (kick-off at 20:00 CET). Seven more games, on Saturday 06 and Sunday, 07/08/2016, will also be broadcast by Sky Deutschland. The last game of Matchday 1, VfB Stuttgart - FC St. Pauli, will be broadcast on Sport1, on Monday, 08/08/2016, from 20:15 CET.

In the United Kingdom, 1. FC Kaiserslautern - Hannover 96 can be viewed on the pay-TV channel BT Sport 1, which will also broadcast the final game of Matchday 1, VfB Stuttgart - FC St. Pauli, both on BT Sport 1.

In France, the beIN Media Group holds the TV rights to the 2.Bundesliga, which were included in the acquisition of the Bundesliga TV rights for the 2015 to 2017 period, but will not broadcast any game live.

The 2.Bundesliga is not broadcast in Italy or Spain.
