Media: Swiss agency Kentaro secure media rights to Manchester United's pre-season tour 2013

The Kentaro media agency have secured the global media rights for Manchester United's (1^st in the Premier League in 2012/13) 2013 pre-season tour in Asia and Oceania, the company announced on the 02/07/2013.

Manchester United's pre-season tour takes place from the 13/07 to the 29/07/2013. The 2012-13 champions will play in Thailand, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Kentaro said it had secured the rights to the tour following a “highly competitive” tender process, adding that it had already concluded a number of broadcast deals for the tour that will be announced soon.

The agency also holds the international TV rights to the Audi Cup 2013 (German pre-season tournament featuring Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Sao Paolo FC and AC Milan, on the 31/07/2013 and the 01/08/2013) and the Uli Hoeness Cup (Bayern Munich vs FC Barcelona, on the 23/07/2013).
