FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) broadcast the official presentation of their 2016-17 squad live on their Facebook page, on Saturday, 06/08/2016. "Normally only 75,000 fans have a chance of joining in at the Allianz Arena, but this year millions of Bayern fans worldwide have the chance to see the stars close-up at the first digital team presentation," said the German club, on 04/08/2016.

The "#FCBday1 Show" was filmed in the same format as the 'late-night-show", an evening show format popularised by American television, which mixes interviews and humorous sequences. In the studio, the Bayern players were asked about the club's current issues and played the football simulation game FIFA 2017, published by the American studio EA Sports, a global partner of the Bavarian club since 01/08/2016.

Remotely, fans could challenge the Bayern players at FIFA 2017 or on a golf simulation game, under the "#FCBchallenge" hashtag, and interact with them via a chat feature. Internet users around the world could submit their questions to the Bayern Munich players, as well as elect the winner of the…
