Spain: Canal+ branded channels disappear, replaced by Movistar and #0 channels, on 01/08/2016

Telefonica, the Spanish telecommunications operator, replaced the channels of the brand Canal+ in favour of Movistar and #0, with regards to their Spanish offers, on 01/08/2016. #0 is the new name of the main Canal+ channel on 01/02/2016, and Canal+ Partidazo became Movistar Partidazo.

The seven sports channels of bouquet offered by Movistar+ now called Movistar Partidazo are Movistar Fútbol, Movistar Deportes 1 and 2, Movistar Golf, Movistar Moto GP, and Movistar Fórmula 1.

These name changes also affect the movie channels Estrenos, Acción, Comedia, DCine, Cine Ñ, and Xtra as well as the series channels, Series and Series Xtra, to which the Movistar brand has been added.
