NFL: extension of the partnership with Snapchat to create and distribute exclusive content

The NFL and Snapchat, an application for sharing photos and videos, have extended their partnership which began in 2015, announced the NFL on 02/08/2016. This partnership will cover the 2016 and 2017 seasons, according to several US media outlets.

As part of this partnership, the NFL will become the first sports league to have a presence on the social network via the "Discover" Snapchat platform, where the NFL media branch will provide access to the latest exclusive news items and videos. Videos of each NFL game as well as the biggest events of the season in American football (Super Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine and NFL Draft) will be featured on the application. The NFL and Snapchat will work with all the NFL teams.

"We’re excited to expand our partnership with Snapchat, delivering compelling NFL content to a platform where millions of our fans around the world interact on a daily basis," said Blake Stuchin, director of digital media business of the NFL, on 02/08/2016.
