Southampton FC: Virgin Media offers a drink to spectators the first home game in 2016-17

Virgin Media, the main shirt sponsor of Southampton FC, is offering a drink for "Saints" fans who attend the home game against Watford FC, as part of the Matchday 1 of the 2016-17 Premier League season, on Saturday, 13/08/2016 (kick-off at 16:00 CET).

The initiative of the British telecommunications group seeks to celebrate the launch of the 2016-17 Premier League season, of which is the beginning of its first season of three (2016-2019) as the main Southampton FC shirt sponsor, which was confirmed on 08/06/2016.

Spectators at St. Mary's Stadium (32,689 seats) will receive a coupon upon entering the stadium, which they can use in the refreshment areas of the stadium to purchase a beverage of their choice before kick-off. "As the UK’s only TV provider to offer all the sporting action on Sky Sports and BT Sport in one package, Virgin Media believe that football should be about the fans," said Southampton FC.
