Premier League: 36,409 average spectators per game (+0.6%) and 96% stadium fill rate in 2015-16

The 20 Premier League clubs recorded an average of 36,409 spectators per game during the 2015-16 season, an increase of 233 spectators (+0.6%) compared to the 2014-15 season. This average places the Premier League second among the European Top 5 leagues in terms of attendance, behind the Bundesliga (average of 43,325 spectators per games).

With an average of 75,279 spectators - in Premier League matches - at Old Trafford (75,600 seats), Manchester United FC are the English club which has the highest attendance in 2015-16. The Mancunian club posted a stadium fill rate of over 99%, allowing it to have the third best average attendance in Europe, behind Borussia Dortmund (81,178) and FC Barcelona (78,902).

Two other English clubs - Arsenal FC (59,944) and Manchester City FC (54,041) - are among the 11 European clubs to register an average attendance above 50,000 spectators per game.
