Bundesliga: 43,325 average spectators per game (-0.5%) and 93% stadium fill rate in 2015-16

The 18 Bundesliga clubs recorded an average of 43,325 spectators per game during the 2015-16 season, a decrease of 224 spectators per game (-0.5%) compared to the 2014-15 season. This figure makes the Bundesliga the best European Top 5 league in terms of attendance, with an average per game higher than those of the Serie A TIM (22,155) and Ligue 1 (20,894) combined.

With 81,178 fans per game on average - for Bundesliga matches - at the Signal Iduna Park (81,359 seats), Borussia Dortmund are the German club that registered the highest attendance mark in 2015-16. This is an increase of 1% from 2014-15 (80,424 spectators per game), Dortmund also lead the attendance at the European level for the fourth consecutive season.

Second in the Bundesliga in terms of attendance with an average of 75,000 spectators per game, all of FC Bayern Munich's 17 2015-16 home games were sold out. Borussia Dortmund and FC Schalke 04 (3rd in Bundesliga attendance, with 61,368 spectators per game) nearly sold out their stadium for every match, comprising a stadium fill rate of above 99%.
