MENA: beIN Media Group acquires rights to the 4 next Olympic Games, 2018 to 2024 (official)

beIN Media Group acquired, from the IOC, the exclusive rights to the next four Olympic Games until 2024 for MENA (Middle East and North Africa regions), on 17/08/2016. This officially confirms the agreement announced by the IOC on 27/07/2015.

beIN Sports is the official broadcaster, in MENA, for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang (South Korea) in 2018, the Tokyo (Japan) Olympic Games in 2020, the Beijing (China) Olympic Winter Games in 2022, the 2024 Summer Olympic Games (not yet awarded), and all Youth Olympic Games until 2024. These rights apply to all platforms, including the OTT platform beIN Connect. beIN Sports has broadcast the Olympics in the region since 2004. "For the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016, beIN broadcast more than 160 hours of live content per day across 15 channels," announced the group on 17/08/2016.
