Bundesliga: launch of the official fantasy game for the 2016-17 season

The Bundesliga launched the "Official Fantasy Bundesliga", its own virtual sports league for the 2016-17 season, on 06/08/2016.

The game is available in a dedicated area on the official website of the Bundesliga. The "Official Fantasy Bundesliga" is free and available in German and English. As in all fantasy games, the results are defined based on player performances in the actual games, according to various sporting criteria. As of 22/08/2016, the Bundesliga has not communicated the number of registered players in the fantasy game.

The 2016-17 Bundesliga season begins with FC Bayern Munich - SV Werder Bremen, on Friday, 26/08/2016 (kick-off at 20:30 CET).
