Serie A: Vorwerk Folletto (vacuum cleaners) becomes the main shirt sponsor of Fiorentina for 3 years

Vorwerk Folletto, an Italian subsidiary of Vorwerk, a German group specialising in electrics equipment, became the main sponsor of ACF Fiorentina (Serie A TIM), on 18/08/2016. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed by either party, Italian media has reported a partnership as for three seasons (2016-2019) for an estimated total amount of €11m, or slightly more than €3.5m per season.

The vacuum cleaner brand Folletto (known as Kobold in all other countries where Vorwerk operates) will appear primarily on the shirt of the Florentine club, but will also leave room during some matches (home or away) for visibility of the Vorwerk brand. The partnership covers domestic competitions (Serie A TIM and TIM Cup) as well as European (the "Viola" have qualified for the group stage of the 2016-17 Europa League).

The Fiorentina shirt was devoid of a main sponsor since the end of the partnership with the Japanese automaker Mazda in June 2014. Vorwerk Folletto's activations will focus on the value of "cleanliness" - in the sense of "fair play" - and will be dedicated to the club's fans…
