FC Bayern Munich - SV Werder Bremen, the opening game of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season, will be broadcast in Germany on ARD, on Friday, 26/08/2016 (kick-off at 20:30 CET). The public channel will also broadcast VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bayer 04 Leverkusen, on Saturday, 27/08/2016 (kick-off at 18:30 CET). The pay-TV group Sky Deutschland will broadcast all games of Matchday 1 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season on its Sky Bundesliga HD channels.

• In the United Kingdom, Bayern Munich - Werder Bremen will be broadcast on the pay-TV channel BT Sport 3.
