2016-17 Champions League: draw completed for the group stage, games from 14/09 to 07/12/2016

The group stage for the 2016-17 Champions League is set following the draw concluded in Monaco, on Thursday, 25/08/2016. The 32 teams were placed into four pots of eight teams, and then were drawn into eight groups of four teams each.

The 2015-16 champions of the top seven leagues, via the UEFA association (country) coefficient ratings, were place in Pot 1, along with defending champions of the Champions League, Real Madrid CF. The seven champions of Pot 1 were: FC Barcelona (ESP), Leicester City FC (ENG), FC Bayern Munich (GER), Juventus (ITA), SL Benfica (POR), Paris Saint-Germain (FRA), and CSKA Moscow (RUS).
