UEFA has revealed the visual identity of the final of the Champions League, at the draw for the group stage of the 2016-17 edition in Monaco, on 25/08/2016. This final will be held at the Millenium Stadium (74,500 capacity) in Cardiff (Wales), on Saturday, 03/06/2017.

The visual identity of the 2016-17 final will be visible throughout the city and inside the stadium, "it combines the prestige of the competition and the spirit of Cardiff, a modern city, rich in culture. The dragon is the symbol of Wales, and it is stylized with the cup at the heart of this visual identity, celebrating the most coveted club competition in Europe. The copper tones complement the colours of the Champions League," said UEFA on 25/08/2016.

This visual identity was created in partnership with TEAM Marketing AG, the agency which holds the marketing and media rights to UEFA (for club competitions), and the London creative agency Designwerk. This was also the case for the visual identity of the 2015-16 final (held at the San Siro in Milan, ITA).
