UEFA: Ángel María Villar Llona (ESP), UEFA presidential candidate, reveals his 3-point program

"The Evolution and Protection of our Organization... The Continued Development and Promotion... To Protect the Game and the Players", these are the three pillars of the electoral program presented by Ángel María Villar Llona (ESP), candidate for the UEFA presidency, on 23/08/2016.

The election of the successor to Michel Platini (FRA), UEFA president since 26/01/2007 and suspended for four years from any position in football since 08/10/2015, will take place at the 12^th Extraordinary Congress of the European Confederation, organised to take place in Athens (GRE), on Wednesday, 14/09/2016.

Two other candidates have officially submitted their application before the deadline (20/07/2016):
• Aleksander Ceferin, president of the Slovenian Football Fedetatuon (NZS)
• Michael van Praag, president of the Netherlands Football Federation (KNVB)
