Nigeria: Star Lager beer becomes a regional partner of Arsenal, Man City, Real, Juventus, and PSG

The Nigerian beer brand Star Lager Beer has become an "official beer partner" of Arsenal FC, Manchester City FC (Premier League), Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander), Juventus (Serie A TIM), and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) in Nigeria, on 31/08/2016.

Arsenal, Man City, and Real have not revealed the duration of their partnerships, while PSG and Juventus agreed to five (2016-2021) and six (2016-2022) season deals, respectively. The Italian club is the only one of the five to have previously collaborated with the beer Star (in 2015-16).

As part of the agreement, Star can use the logos/images of the five clubs and their players for its communication campaigns in Nigeria. Promotional and communication activities implemented jointly by Star and the clubs will be "designed to enhance visibility of the European giants in Nigeria," said Nigerian Breweries, the company which owns the Star brand.
