Ligue 1: Winamax launches its "Jeu de l’Entraîneur" ("Manager Game"), first of its kind in France

Winamax, a French betting and gambling operator, launched the 2016-17 edition of its "Jeu de l’Entraîneur" ("Manager Game"), a football management simulation game, on 07/09/2016. Winamax had already proposed such a game during Euro 2016, using the 24 qualified national teams.

The game for the 2016-17 season offers users the chance to play with a number of clubs in Ligue 1, and make money, "a first in France in this market, going beyond the purpose of classification and fictitious awards, Winamax adds a real gain objective," said the French operator. The best "managers" will share a prize of up to €10,000 per matchday.

For this first Ligue 1 edition, Winamax chose Raymond Domenech (FRA), former manager of the French national team, as the ambassador of "Jeu de l’Entraîneur". "He will give his advice on the form of the players, the safest bets, his moment of madness, and present his own team for each Ligue 1 matchday.
