Sportel Monaco 2016: sports media content convention from 24 to 27/10/2016 (Grimaldi Forum)

The programme for the 2016 edition of the Sportel Monaco convention, from 24 to 27/10/2016 at the Grimaldi Forum (Monaco), was made public on 08/09/2016. The Sportel convention is focussed around the sports media industry.

The programme of this edition includes, in particular, a presentation from the Chinese group LeSports (a subsidiary of LeEco) at 14:00, followed by a presentation from LaLiga atl 17:00, on Tuesday, 25/10/2016. The convention will also be marked by a series of speeches with specialists in each field on topics such as social networks, virtual/digital and its impact on the legal environment.

In 2015, Sportel Monaco had 2,786 participants, representing 994 companies and 75 countries. 34% of them were buyers of TV rights and the remaining 66% came for sales. 24% of participants represented a broadcasting group, and 70% were from the European region.
