At least 3.516 million viewers on average watched the 10 games of Matchday 3 of the 2016-17 LaLiga Santander season, held from 09 to 11/09/2016.

The best TV audience of the weekend was for Real Madrid CF - CA Osasuna (5-2), which drew 691,000 viewers on average on the pay-TV channel beIN LaLiga on Saturday, 10/09/2016 (16:00 CET). This figure represented a 5.8% audience share for the channel jointly created by beIN Media Group and Mediapro, and ranked first in the Spanish market for pay television for the entire day of 10/09/2016. The FC Barcelona - Deportivo Alavés (1-2) match drew 625,000 viewers on average on the pay-TV channel Movistar Partidazo on Saturday, 10/09/2016 (20:30 CET), for an audience share of 6.4%.

On the Spanish free-TV, the Real Sociedad - RCD Espanyol (1-1) match drew 499,000 viewers on average on Gol (channel relaunched by Mediapro on 02/06/2016) on Friday, 09/09/2016 (20:45 CET). This figure represented a 4.6% audience share.
