Matchday 4 of the 2016-17 Ligue 1 season drew an average of 22,636 spectators per game, from 09 to 11/09/2016. After four rounds, the average attendance of the French championship is currently 20,423 spectators per game, for an average stadium fill rate of 67%.

Paris Saint-Germain - AS Saint-Étienne (1-1) recorded the highest attendance from Matchday 4, with 44,327 fans at the Parc des Princes (fill rate: 92%).

Three matches from Matchday 4 drew less than 10,000 spectators, equaling the number of such games from the previous three matchdays.

  • The 20 Ligue 1 clubs registered an average attendance of 20,894 fans per match for the entire 2015-16 season.
