Premier League: Apollo Tyres (tyres) extends as global sponsor of Manchester United for three years

The Indian tyre manufacturer Apollo Tyres has extended its partnership with Manchester United FC (Premier League) and expanded it by becoming a global sponsor of the club for the 2016-2019 period, on 08/09/2016. Apollo Tyres is a partner of Manchester United for three seasons. The company was a regional partner of the club in the United Kingdom and India since 2013. In 2015, the partnership had expanded to more than 100 countries across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Among the highlights of this partnership, Apollo Tyres manages two "Go the Distance" football pitches: one outside Old Trafford (75,811 capacity) in Manchester, and the second in Mumbai, India: "Each pitch is made of recycled tyre rubber and provides a sustainable contribution to the local community, bringing football to children," said the Indian company. Apollo Tyres will use Manchester United's likeness for all of its communications operations, as well as for business operations.
