France: Olympique Lyonnais become a shirt sponsor of the LHC Lions ice hockey team for 2016-17

Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) became a major partner and shirt sponsor of the Lyon Hockey Club (LHC) Lions (French hockey first division) for the 2016-17 season, announced the Lyon football club on 08/09/2016.

Olympique Lyonnais will receive visibility not only on the LHC Lions jersey, but also on the hockey's club communication platforms (including digital) as well as on the advertising boards around the Charlemagne ice rink (4,200 seats), located in Confluence, a district in Lyon. In addition, OL say that they want to "actively participate in the development of the LHC Lions by investing in them and by sharing expertise so as to support the hockey club in achieving its sporting goals."

The LHC Lions will participate in the Winter Game event (an outdoor hockey game) against "les Brûleurs de loup" (the Wolf Burners) of Grenoble, to take place this year at Parc OL (59,186 capacity), on Friday 30/12/2016 (20:00 CET).
