Bundesliga: the nine games of Matchday 2 draw 3.41 million subscribers to Sky Deutschland channels

The nine games of Matchday 2 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season, played from 09 to 11/09/2016, drew a total of 3.41 million subscribers on average on the German pay-TV channels of Sky Bundesliga, according to data from the German institutes of audience measurement AGF and GfK.

The best audience for the weekend was fro FC Schalke 04 - FC Bayern Munich (0-2), which drew 1.08 million subscribers on average on Sky Bundesliga 1, on Friday, 09/09/2016 from 20:30 CET. This represented an audience share of 4.2%. In the entirety of the 2015-16 Bundesliga season, only three games drew over one million subscribers.

The lower audience was for SC Freiburg - VfL Borussia Mönchengladbach (3-1), which drew 50,000 subscribers on the Sky Bundesliga channels, on Saturday, 10/09/2016 from 15:30 CET.
