Martyn Jones appointed director of sponsorship at Perform Group

Martyn Jones has been appointed global brand sponsorship director at Perform, the digital sports content provider, on the 05/07/2013. He will report to Stefano D’Anna, managing director for worldwide sales and brand partnerships at Perform.

Jones will be responsible for commercialising Perform's consumer brands including the website Goal.com, as well as developing strategic global brand partnerships.

Since 1996, Jones has worked at the British media group Haymarket Consumer Media, where he was publishing director of football magazine 'FourFourTwo' between April 2001 and June 2013.

The Perfom Group is currently expanding, in particular in view of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and Perform's recent acquisition of the sports data company Opta (for €46m).
