FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) - Celtic FC (Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership), 7-0, Matchday 1 of Group C of the 2016-17 Champions League, drew an average of 3.526 million viewers on the Spanish, private free-TV channel Antena 3, on Tuesday, 13/09/2016 (kick-off at 20:45 CET).

This figure represented an audience share of 21.8%, with a peak audience of 4.18 million viewers late in the game, and allowed the channel of the Atresmedia group to achieve the best performance of the day in the Spanish television market.

PSV Eindhoven (Eredivisie) - Club Atlético de Madrid (LaLiga Santander), 0-1, Matchday 1 of Group D of the 2016-17 Champions League, drew an average of 427,000 viewers on the pay-TV channel beIN Sports, on Tuesday, 13/09/2016 (kick-off at 20:45).
