Bundesliga: attendance for Matchday 3 of the 2016-17 season, Dortmund - Darmstadt draws 81,360

Matchday 3 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season drew an average of 50,245 spectators per game from 16 to 18/09/2016. The average attendance of the German championship is currently 40,665, for an average stadium fill rate of 91%.

Borussia Dortmund - SV Darmstadt 98 (6-0) recorded the highest attendance of Matchday 3, with 81,360 spectators at Signal Iduna Park (sold out).

Seven of the nine games drew more than 43,000 spectators, and no match drew less than 23,000, which allowed Matchday 3 of the 2016-17 Bundesliga season to exceed an average attendance of 50,000 spectators per game.

  • In 2015-16, the 18 Bundesliga clubs recorded an average of 43,325 spectators per game.
