France: FFF and LFP formalise plans for a "development and cooperation office" in Beijing, China

"The Fédération Française de Football and the Ligue de Football Professionnel are pleased to announce the opening of an office in China," announced the two French bodies on 22/09/2016. "The office for development and cooperation, based in Beijing, will be implemented in early 2017."

This formalisation responds to the desire of the FFF and LFP to export French training "know-how" and develop the market of French football in China and abroad," added the Federation and the League

This office will have four priority tasks:
• Export of French training "know-how";
• The development of the brands of Ligue 1, Domino's League 2, Coupe de la Ligue, Coupe de France, and France national teams to the Chinese public;
• The strengthening of strategic ties with actors in the Chinese sport sector;
• Accompanying French football clubs in their strategy for development in China and Asia.
