Valencia CF: opening of a football school in Shanghai (China), 2000 children involved

Valencia CF (LaLiga Santander) opened a football school in Shanghai, the first for the Spanish club in China, in partnership with Growable Sports, a Chinese company specialising in the implementation and development of football schools for children, on 22/09/2016. The two parties announced that they have signed a three-year partnership during a ceremony in Shanghai, attended by 300 guests.

The school "Growable-Valencia CF" will bring together about 2000 children (girls and boys), with a programme focused on the player development and coaching education. Exchange visits and friendly matches will also be held and two club trainers will move to Shanghai to set up the entire system of training for young Chinese players. The school of Valencia CF will be installed inside the XiWai International School, the largest private school in Shanghai with over 5000 students.
