GO acquires the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier League in Malta

GO has been awarded the exclusive broadcasting rights in Malta to all 380 Premier League matches per season for the seasons 2013/14-2015/16, the Premier League announced on the 09/07/2013. Launched in 2008, the Maltese telecommunications and media group has already broadcast the Premier League in the country since the 2010/11 season.

The new deal includes the right to show live, delayed and repeat transmissions of Premier League matches in English and Maltese on GO sports channels and over digital, terrestrial and IPTV (television on Internet protocol) platforms.

The rights also include the live transmission of selected matches in Maltese on mobile devices - a new service which GO is about to launch.
