Internet: 59 of 98 clubs in the Top 5 have at least one version of their site in another language

59 of the 98 clubs (60.2%) in the European Top 5 leagues in 2016-17 have at least one version of their club website in a language other than that of the country's native language, according to an analysis by News Tank Football on 28/09/2016.

The Bundesliga (89%) and LaLiga Santander (75%) are the leagues with clubs which often translate their website into foreign languages. 65% of the Serie A TIM clubs offer a version in at least one language other than Italian. However, the use of English as the international language means that only 40% of Premier League clubs have other versions of their site. In Ligue 1, the percentage of clubs having at least two versions of their site is 35% (meaning 13 out of 20 clubs have only a French version).

Manchester City FC (Premier League) with 12 languages, FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) with nine, and then Juventus (Serie A TIM) and Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) with seven are the clubs which maintain the highest number of versions of their website in each of their respective leagues.
